This magnificent sea-cucumber, discovered in 2007, has eerily translucent skin, meaning its internal organs are completely visible from the outside. Perfect for anyone who’s ever wished they could watch the full, gory process of digestion in action. It lives around 2,500 metres deep in the Celebes Sea, between the Philippines and Indonesia.
